Getting the following error trying to launch operation flashpoint in multiplayer on Gamespy.

No Entry "Config.bin::CFGWeaponsKEGSSVDragunov.

I'm working on a fresh install of the game patched up to the most current version. Am I missing some kinda add-on or something? If so where can I locate or how can I resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance,

nutz

I'll give that a shot and thanks for the quick replies.

BTW, isn't there a way that the server can be set to automatically upload the clients files they need to play the missions?

The reason I ask is because it becomes a sort of a drag having to keep up with so many add-ons in one place. Newbs like myself get don't always know where to go find these add-ons to make the game work correctly.

Wish there was, but alas, no. The server will push out a map to you, but thats' it.

In a way, i'm glad, since some of these addons can get HUGE, and a server really shouldnt be pushing out 15 copies of a 30 meg addon just so the folks can have em.

On the other hand, I think server ops should have a place for you to get any required files for the server, as well as an announcement about it in the MOTD you see when you join the server.

The more folks that get these addons though, the more fun and variety we can have online gaming..

So many of the players out there are just playing with the stock install of OFP, and they just don't know what they are missing in some of these addons.

I think this specific error is caused by Kegetys' Winter Kolgujev Island addon missing from your ADDONS folder. Worth the download, to say the least!

It could be in a folder in you addons folder? You'd be surprised sometimes. if it is in a folder in blah blah. then move it into the actual addons folder
