That would be cool... Maybe make some 'criminal' men and stuff and people could play a few armed policing raids... with the less lag in buildings it would be cool to be able to have the police raid a large gang hideout btw: the UK uses SO19 for raids etc for example anti terrorist raids at dawn and stuff like that.. i believe SO19 arrested the attempted July21st bombers... the SAS deal with larger matters, they're much more professional and military operated... dan9of9 0 Posted January 24, 2007 great idea jack only thing is,maybe you guys find this,AI in building = shot thru roof or walls,lol shame cos we made this mission in that hotel near the beach side resort, it was well nice,4 or 5 floors of gunning down,problem was,after a day of editing all the hieghts for the AI in that hotel, floor 2 could shoot you on lvl 1,,floor 3 shot into lvl 2,lol bummer same i notice for lip edges around buildings to,snipers lay down,and shoot thru,and you cannot see them cos of this lip edge around the top. patch 1.05 perhaps but nice idea,it would rock just installed vista last night,its pretty dam good so had to try all my addons,and troops and arma tools, also needed to try my vid software to see how stable it all is. all good,silly little vid coming later which includes the troops Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

dan9of9 0 Posted January 24, 2007 not really making a mod,this is the first pbo i ever made, so just trying things. i would like to finish it thou so it has infantry/vehicles and extras all in that scheme of colors with just one pbo if possible. they are not based on SO19,but just custom units,for our clan, uk flag cos its where im from,and the logo on the back for the team. just messing about realy Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

dan9of9 0 Posted January 25, 2007 Getting there Adding all the parts i want in the pbo first while grey/blueing them with a logo,before i will go for detail (like darker wheels,replace head lights etc) Ive managed to get all the stuff in the one list like the selection for: Men Car Support Objects there is one called Alpha9 UKUS inside is all the troops (19 types),a jet, a hmmwv and a 5t truck. keeps it much tidier getting there All totally independent from the main files,,so its compatible with the main game pbos and any other custom pbos that people make. http://www.alpha9s.com/pictemp/firstpbo6.jpg (ignore the ladder :P had to use it to get height,lol ) http://www.alpha9s.com/pictemp/firstpbo5.jpg one thing i have found thou,with vehicles is another bug,,(the original cars do this too) check out the truck i have made,and look in the windows,its showing the outside grass,where it should be the hanger as you look thru it. dan9of9 0 Posted February 12, 2007 thx guys they are grey in color,instead of dark green and light green camo, we have gone with dark grey,and light blueish grey for our camo. great for night work,swat style (althou not based on swat) just simple reskins. and great for shady towns (shadows and concrete style) getting there,my friends just got a copy so soon can get these tested on both comps,add anything else we want,and release. 1pbo coming soon Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
