Win xp, RADEON 8500, Via KT266a. Horrible shadows

As written in the topic, since i have the 1.42 and this new pc, i can see shadows flickering .

What am I supposed 2 do? This ain't happen before

What drivers are you using? I'm guessing you're not using the 6018's...

Anywho, it's not the game's options, but you should check your Direct3D tab in your display properties, and make sure you have 8-bit stencil turned on.

I tried the 8 bit stencil but it was no use.

What about that 6018?What is it?A driver?Where can I download it from?

Did you try everything in The FAQ item about "flashing shadows"?

you have to reboot for the 8 bit stencil to work

make sure you max all the details out as well
