I just got a new ATi 4870 and I figured it'd be worth seeing what kind of performance I could get with the whole island in view. Surprisingly enough, I was getting 20+ fps in that scene. Zooming in enough to where I could only see South Sahrani, or a comparable chunk of North Sahrani, resulted in 50-60fps. Needless to say, I'm very happy with the 4870. Yeah, in Portugal its 249.95 € or something similar.. I took the screenshots, which did have a kind of fog or haze to them, into photoshop and used the manual level adjust to get rid of the fog/haze. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I've had it for about six months and I couldn't be happier. really, i have a eVGA 8800GTS and honestly ArmA's performance has been a bit lackluster considering what i paid for it. monty67t 0 Posted July 28, 2008 There's a pretty big difference between the GTS and GTX. I use an Intel Core2Duo E6750 @ 2.66GHZ. I have never had any problem with any game with my video card.
