Razor -RS- 0 Posted December 17, 2006 I had the same thing happen. Do you have a windows server? And, have automatic update turned on? If so - check to see if you had IE 7 installed. IE 7 caused my issue because it also downloads and installs two other updates. International NLS update and Global DNS update. It was one of the two other updates that causes the issue with the squad XML file. You can uninstall IE 7 from the "Add / remove programs" menu, however you have to use Windows Explorer to remove the other two updates. Use Window Explorer to browse to your Windows folder, then open the folders for the two updates. Check around and you should find an uninstall file for each update. retromann 10 Posted August 22, 2009 Is there another way to fix this? On my 2003 Server the IE 8 is preinstalled and i cannot gov below ie 7! Greetings
retromann 10 Posted September 6, 2009 Ok I found a way to remove IE 8 and 7. The XML problem is solved for me. Removing the actual IE's ain't a good solution for me, but since I'm not browsing the web on my root, it's ok.
