Dedicated Server Beta available

Recommended Posts

1.02 Deddy released......

Win32 Dedicated Server Beta 1.02.5103

==============================

IMPORTANT: This is version 1.02 and please note that it needs full data update from client version 1.02 and it is not compatible with clients versions 1.00 and 1.01

Public Dedicated Server Betaversion for ArmA is available from

Bohemia Interactive's ftp server

See included rtf file for more information, the usage is similar to Operation Flashpoint servers.

The server should be compatible with all language versions of ArmA.

If people can give us some data feedback that would be very useful, cpu load, mem usage, numbers of people etc. etc.

Very nice, job well done.

I noticed it defaulted to "english langauge", or was this due to my "english" windows?

Most of all we are interested in dumps from any server crashes. If you have some, send them to us for analysis. Most important is the bidmp file, but mdmp and rpt can contain usefull additional information as well.

WOW! What a difference. [LOL]Circus seems very stable running on dual Xeon and Windows Server 2003. Thanks BIS!

Once we have a few players on line we will capture some stats (mem/CPU etc.)

Thanks Again

No server crashes yet, but will .zip all 3 up daily/weekly and send them over to BIS from SuicidESquad.co.uk server if that will help?

so far i can see, servers runs now stable (no crashes detected) but connection time during a running game (jip) is horrable. it takes several minutes.

can anyone post the best performance settings for the server.cfg for a 100mbit server with 3 Ghz/2GB Ram?

-maxmsgsnd

- max/min bandwidth

etc?

Can BIS/Someone please confirm where the server performance tuning parameters go?

ArmA.cfg, <Username>.ArmAProfile.cfg or server.cfg?

Cheers
