CanisDEK 1 Posted November 27, 2006 As the thread on windows vista 64 was closed I had to create a new thread, because I'd like to know if anyone has experience with running Armed Assault on Windows XP 64 bit. I have had few problems with games on win xp 64, but some games and expecially starforce copy protection has caused problems. What is the status on Win XP 64 bit and how is the official BIS attitude in regards to support when running the game on win xp 64 bit?

CanisDEK 1 Posted November 27, 2006 No problems here, running xp pro 64bit edition. Â Sounds great... but I still hope Morphicon do not use Starforce copy protection. I don't think anything has been cnfirmed by Morphicon yet though.
M9ACE 0 Posted November 27, 2006 I find this thread to be of particular interest as I just ordered Window XP 64 bit to play around with. Â I had been wondering how well Armed Assault would work on it. One thing that concerns me is that I have heard that driver support is sometimes lacking for this OS. I have run win xp 64 bit and the only game that has given me problems so far is Splinter cell because of starforce. Nvidia drivers are great and as long as you have quality hardware it's easy finding drivers. But if you have crappy hardware it may not be as easy.
