Thanks for everyone who took the time to vote on my poll last week the results are below.

This week I want to find out what people will be doing who have to wait untill next year for the game. The News That A Download Version Wont Happen Untill After UK Release Date Has Forced Me To Buy German & Get An Evening Class At The Local Community College In How To Speak German.

I don't see why anyone would just lose interest in the game, it's not like you are forced to stare at the website everyday and wait until it's out. Besides, there are other games to play as well.

And to the non-German-speaking guys buying ArmA from Germany, how are you going to understand the mission briefings and objectives? Sure you can use english stringtables for menus when they are out but all text in missions will be in German, and the voices for the reporters in cutscenes will be German. Replacing all that with english wont be easy.

Maybe you people should stop 'waiting' and just continue with life and be like 'hey! thats that game i heard about a few months ago!' and then just buy it, its just a game?

I'm going to TRY and get a German copy, but if it's too much trouble I'll just wait. I live in America, so it's like 100x harder to get the game from Germany than it would be for all you Europeans.

Personally this has been a crazy rollercoaster, a lot of dissapointments with this whole publishing business.

Well what the heck .. first i hear it is coming out before the release, then after the Czech release, now it's coming out after the various european releases and before the UK release?

Isn't the Gold version already done? It IS only 10 days for the Czech and Slovakia release and 3-4 weeks for the other releases.

Are you sure or are you just guessing, I really wish there was more recent official info on this stuff.

Well they changed their plans, remember that BI cant look into the future so they couldnt know they didnt have enough time to work on it.

Just aint right, theres no way on earth I'm waiting til Q-1 2007 have to say it's the American publishers fault too if they lose out on Millions of sales for not jumping on this.

As for people who think this is a usless thread, simple dont enter it then.

Some of us like to know what others are thinking, i certainly want to see how many other people in the UK for instance want to play the game before uk release so i can find a server and play along side them.

if i wanted to fight just germans and poles, i would go into my local town center on a friday night and wait untill the pubs shut.

I never said I can wait, maybe I implied it but I didn't mean to. I can't wait, I want this game more than any other game. I just meant that simply giving up on waiting for the game is stupid because waiting doesn't actually involve doing anything .

Since I'm in South Africa I should get the game when 505 release it. I want my game in english, not German, so I'm not going to import it.

I paid full price for OFP & Res, now they are practically free.

Let the dumba$$ US distibutor (when/if they find 1) keep pissing us off, by mid to late 2007, the price will be cut in half...if not more!

No one will lose the insterest in the game, besides the end of 2006 and the beginning of 2007 will bring some titles to keep you busy, like Hl2 Episode two and Crysis
