-Casualties can be tracked for each side by counting the variables WCasualtyList, ECasualtyList, RCasualtyList and dividing it by 2 (RCasualtyList/2). These are arrays, they put out the dead soldiers name and unit type.

-No more parachutes. Jump out over water at a slow speed or die.

I forgot to add this in the readme:

All units can swim. I added the option to disable any side to swim by typing rAllowRswim = 0, rAllowEswim = 0 , and rAllowWswim = 0. Swimming is beneficial to the mission because OFP and disembarking from boats is a pain in the ass.

Ok troops, Ive uploaded, "Feldish Expedition - Take Everon"

Overview

You are the commander of the 3rd Feldish Expeditionary Force. You have been tasked to take over Everon by any means necessary. In this mission, you will have admisistrative and tactical command of 8 - 10 groups, 3 of which are transport ships. You will need to issue tactical orders to defeat the enemy and complete the mission. You will need to call in reinforcements to keep you war machine rolling. You will need to keep your unit supplied with ammunition and keep them medically fit. You have the ability to organize the Expeditionary Force anyway you want, thanks to COC. If you are not familiar with COC Command Engine, their is a field manual in the briefing. The field manual explains pretty much everything you need to know to complete the mission (except tactics). You will have access to reports. Theres a Unit roster report, caualty report, and mission status report. The unit roster displays a soldiers properties and ammuntion ammount. The casualty roster shows all of your fallen soldiers. The mission status report shows the mission status.

You will receive credits based on how much territory you control. You recieve credits about every actual hour. The game time is accelerated, 1 minute = to about 5 seconds. Soldiers will gain experience every actual hour, and from combat. If a squad leader is conscript or green, they may retreat alot. There is a savegame option and also a autosave option which save the game every 10 minutes. A Music player has been added to make things less edgy.

The mission has a bunch of scripts. When I was editing it, is saw the file was about 1 meg. Thats all scripts and html. Due to fact that the enemy is controlled by DAC alot of lag is created. This means no 5000 view distance. I play at 1500 view distance and full visual quality and clock at around 10 FPS. I think this is more than bearable, hopefully itll be the same for you.

AI units respawn until you take out their villages. Theres 21 sectors. Theres both Kossian and Natives.

Alright, Im T - 2 hours to leave for the Army.

So everyone has permission to modify my mission or the mod. Just give me credit, I put alot of time into both.

Well I got some good new and some bad news. I dont leave til tommorow and I dont leave till tommorow.

Ya Ships are a pain. Try putting the waypoint in land. If they start to turn, place the waypoint in the land oposite of the direction the ship is turning.

You may notice errors through out the mission regarding _rCamp. Just ignore these, these are DAC errors and there is nothing I can do about them at the moment. When the next version of DAC comes out i may update the mission

I just got my ass handed to me in the mission. Im going to post some pictures and the AAR.

Started off the south Eastern coast of everon. Patroled the intended drop point with ships. No contact. One ship disembarked in a bay the other on a peninsula. My plan was to take the entire South eastern peninsula to gain a foot hold on southern Everon. I spread bravo section across the opening of were alpha section landed. Alpha section secured the peninsula, no contact. My plan went into effect to take the South Eastern penisula. I set up a line expecting to sweep the the entire peninsula in one swoop. ERROR: I should have sent out 1 recon section then reacted from that point. All out rushes will get soldiers killed. I set up my sweep then executed it. For about 500 meters there was no contact. Alpha section came across some Kossian patrols to the north. Alpha section began taking casualties.

The area where alpha section was a valley with no cover. ERROR: #1 no cover, #2 Long range engagement with Kossians soldiers, WRONG. Kossian soldiers are expert shartshooters. Alpha section was nearly wiped in 6 minutes. A Feldish soldier is an average shot with bolt action rifle, however the best engagement range is probably 3-400 meters.

map1.jpgWhile Alpha section was getting slaughtered to the North, I came across a Kossian village, with lots and lots of Kossians.

Bravo Sections mission was to patrol the southern end of the peninsula.

This area was the same valley that Alpha section was in, except there was more trees. However, the enemy was 5-700 meters away. Alpha section was pretty much decimated at this point. I had them retreat towards the southern coast. At the start of the sweep, I placed the both ship along the souther coast: GOOD MOVE. Having the ships cover infantry is highly advantagous, ALL of my troops would of been dead if i hadnt of done this.

Once the one man left of the orginal 20 man alpha section got me I retreated south with him and my HQ unit, although my XO was killed early in the battle. I also had bravo section retreat south also. I would of had bravo team cover the retreat, but there was only 2 of us because I had sent my 2 soldiers and medic to bravo section already.

About half way through all this I called for reinforcements, all soldiers. When all the units were done retreating the transport finally made it to land, but they wouldnt get out of damn transport. So I "Surrendered. In the end, I took more than 75% casualties. I didnt check the final casualties but at one point it was 34 us and 40 them. The Force starts out at 59 soldiers including the 14 sailors and 5 man HQ.

I thought this was pretty neat, because I thought I was going to slaughter the kossians. Boy was I wrong. Anyway, learn from mistakes, and try this damn mission.

The updated mission is included in the patch, but I also updated the mission file to.

i'm getting an error, i know comat agent is away but has anyone has this error and know how to fix it: this happens when i try and reload a save or continue

cannot load 'Users\[Rifles]_Rct_Conors\Saved\missions\Feldish Expedition - Everon.natureeden\autosave(or continue).fps' Error no entry at '/Gamestate/Variables/Item462/data.value'

i like it notworthy.gifnotworthy.gif but when i put alot of the soldiers and indians , it crashes my ofp , why is that ? still i like it , hey can you make some north american natives , which can do the same as those african natives , ? pleaseee...... whistle.gifwhistle.gifwhistle.gif

I will not be able to mod or play OFP for about 2 months. Good to hear you enjoy. Post more info on the crashing and maybe I can help.
