UCS_Mercenaries 0.9 Release

*we are adding a few new models into the mix a pair of snipers light and heavy from me and serial killer is adding a shotgun armed guy

->For weapons we will stick to SJB_TOS as far as possible to maintain an easy and straight foward "download to play" with no extras except of course SJB_TOS (when vers 2.0 arrives there will be changes made to weapon loadouts) and JAM3

->Also to be used is my weapon pack which a beat of was included with that last release

For heads we have gone for Llaumas head model but with our own non random faces.

Depending on original authors these are how the weapons should look

The DM4 has been reworked into a neutral camo scheme i made

The MP5 is an "A2" so uses an "S-E-F" trigger group

The CQBR you see here is the silenced version with the SJB 2.0 ACOG and PEQ2 etc, these are only here to illustrate what the model should look like and may not be there in the final version.

The SR25 Carbine has been reworked into a full size SR25, until i can get the needed textures from jackal.

The AK47 you see is one of several variants in production, its just a reskinned version of the SJB_TOS AK47 really.

This CQBR hasnt changed since the last release apart from the PEQ-2

The Minimi Para you see before you will be changed back to its original Solid stock version as i changed my mind about the para...

This picture represents the AK47 area of the pack, different furniture and magazine cappacitys ETC.

Also in production are the following...

MAC 10 -> Status = Model Complete awaiting textures

Skorpian Status = Model Complete awaiting textures

RPG7 Status = Model Complete awaiting textures

Nades / Explosives -> Status = Model Complete awaiting textures

There will be some new additions to the pack i hope, they should be a mercenary with medical training and improved yuri and several new guys

yep atm though we need to figure out who and what the other guys are gonna be and then we can start to add the scripts and blood tex

well they are west atm because one its a beta, two we dont know whethere to add them to res or not and three we've been dealing with numerous niggles and problems during development

lol me and tomi (serial killer) are working out exactly what we need to do for instance resizing the vest and modifying the chest so as it doesnt protrude through the vest, i've also been working on a desert mercenary with varying success expect some screens of him soon...

You will change the sides if you change SoldierWB in SoldierGB in your config.cpp

i will change the sides will i or is that a request? on second thoughts you could just edit the .cfg yourself for PRIVATE use and have them as resistance

I f I shot your mercenary to hand,leg etc.He will always get the dead head texture,will you disable it in next version?

you'd have to ask JW that he did us the lovely screens and yes all the death textures etc will be finished for the final version i think... seeing as this is a public beta atm

its late and i'm bored so i redid the vests they are now smaller and fit better (i hope) and are startig to emerge in more distinct types as show in the pic below.
