Albert Schweitzer 10 Posted July 19, 2006 wiki is the best thing that could happen to such a moddable game. Especially with that community pah, they are just trying to push Avon into unemployment!
Phleep 0 Posted July 19, 2006 I hope that sockets supports VOIP for this game and that this is outdated. Quote[/b] ]The option -dplay can be used in a shortcut to specifiy which networking mode to use. You can also change this option in the networking mode menu. The -dplay networking mode uses Microsofts Direct Play implementation of networking code included with DirectX. This mode contains the in game voice over IP that is not supported with the option -sockets. Phleep 0 Posted July 19, 2006 On a more positive note: they have introduced a skeleton system which will allow modders from other games some easier transition. Will also make animations better too of course.
tonik_tzw 0 Posted July 19, 2006 As an ex soldier with experience in urban tactics, there are so many good places to launch an RPG attack in the picture, it is difficult to choose just one! I guess that we have to try and figure out if the Australian Officer has the same experience, or whether he was sober on the day and just stuck a pin in the pic!! My other question would be "Where do you have to escape to?" In an urban environment it sometimes enough to get out of the kill area and blend back in with the civilian population. Sometimes even one street away is enough!

sugar_wolf 0 Posted July 19, 2006 What if I'd like to take advantage of that discount for TrackIR here in UK. I know they've got a reseller here who offers device for 109,95 quids (inc. postage and packing) which is $200.76. The point is that if I decided to order it directly from US total cost would be $179,95-$30=$149,95+$46,67 (for shipping) which gives $196,63 plus taxes. So where's the deal
Placebo 29 Posted July 19, 2006 Any questions about specifics of the deal should be addressed directly to them

DaSquade 0 Posted July 19, 2006 Nice to see BIS got a deal with Natural point (TrackIR). on me for ordering a set (pro 4) two weeks ago... I guess i will need to live with that fact (but emailed my dealer, Ediminsional UK...never know). Well, but got the same question about the promotion. As the link goes to Natural points site and shop, for Europe people it doesn't really gives them any promotion (see above). Anyway, as i needed to buy one for my friend, i decided to email Ediminsional about the promotion. In the end their site doesn't really mention any promotions, BUT there is the option to enter a promotion code on there order pages. Not sure if they will except it, so i mailed them regarding it. As soon as i have something regarding this, i will post it here (if allowed).

As promised, received the answer to the question: Quote[/b] ]Thank you for contacting eDimensional. Unfortunately that rebate is only available through Naturalpoint and they do not give it to anyone else, but even with the savings you still save over $40 by ordering it from eDimensional in Europe due to the difference in shipping costs, duties, taxes and other fees. These fees and shipping charges add up to well over $70. As a courtesy to our European customers we have paid all of these fees, but still offer the product for the same $179 price, so in effect you're already getting a large discount. On top of that, we provide a free hat, which is another $10 value that you do not get from Naturalpoint. So we are not able to extend the additional rebate on the product at this time, since Naturalpoint refuses to provide any of the rebates to their own resellers. We're glad you are enjoying the product. Anyway, nice to see BIS could make a promotion deal with NaturalPoint, but for non-US residents the pormotion is pointless . Just wanted to share for those that are interested. Kind regards.
