Starting mission in parachute

How do you make normal soldiers start in the air in a parachute. Tried ajusting the height they start in but no parachute pops up so the just fall to the ground.

Try creating an empty parachute and call it 'para' or something and a soldier called 'soldier' or something. Then in the soldiers init field type " soldier moveindriver para ". i think this should work. The parachutes special will need to be set as Flying.

You need a script. One I recommend highly is Shogun's HALO script available from:

I've just tested it and if you do it the way i've sugested, it does work. No need for a script. You can use it for any type of soldier.
