POTECTION AGAINST PRECISION GUIDED WEAPONS AND CRUISE MISSILES ARE STANDARD PLUS THE CONVENTIONAL AIR THREATS. REPORTS SAY CHINA AND RUSSIA ARE PRODUCING A MORE ADVANCED VERSION, WHICH INCLUDES LONGER RANGE MISSILES. IRAN HAS ORDERED THIS SYSTEM. or a S-300 S-400 S-300 Russian next generation of air defense missile system, equivalent to its counterpart US Pac-3 patriot system in terms of effectiveness and range. A 3-D phase array mobile radar with detection range of 400km for aerial targets: Ballistic-cruise missiles, aerial drones, low an high altitude war planes etc. The models differ between S-300SP, S-300PMU, S-300V, and the more powerful S-400 which rivals US naval SM-3 intercepter. Currently in military service for the arms forces of Greece, China, Vietnam, Cyprus, Belarus, and Russia themselves.
