Net Op 0 Posted January 23, 2002 First a little foundation: 1.2 AMD T-Bird, 256 megs PC-133, 40gig HD, Asus A7v MB, Bell South Fast Access DSL, 3d Blaster Geforce 2 GTS, latest patches for hardware and OFP (1.42) Gentelmen, Whenever I query servers for Counter-Strike or Operation Flashpoint using either the in-game browser or Gamespy Arcade/3d it will start to accumulate a number of servers and start a countdown until completion. Shortly after it starts my connection goes "yellow", loss of connectivity. I tried disabling XP's built in firewall but that didn't help, my connection still drops out after a few seconds. I unistalled OFP/counter-strike, reinstalled both games and re-patched to no avail. The only thing that I can think of is to "blow-out" XP and start anew. Please help if you can. Thank you. P.S.
