Comradesniper 0 Posted April 29, 2006 Perhaps it would be a good idea for some of the more experienced island makers out there to share some tips for the newer people, to improve the overall quality of new islands! The sort of thing I mean is not just technical. A couple of my own - Don't put roads on too steep slopes if you can, otherwise the road peices start to vanish behind you in third person view! Church yards look good with a few trees in them, around the church itself or by the fences. You also find that churches have approach roads, those gravel type roads look good here. The type of houses labelled "dum_patrovy01.p3d" to "dum_patrovy01prujezd.p3d" can by rotated to be used twice as much. One side looks like a shop, the other houses with balconies. Don't be afraid to put in aut_zast.p3d, at least one bus station per town looks good. Same for petrol stations in larger towns. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
