XCess 0 Posted April 7, 2006 About 3:20 into the ArmA video from Igromania, I noticed the officer giving an order : "7 engage postion EG60". Does this mean we can give supressive fire orders in ArmA, or does it just operate the same way as the old "watch" order? What do you think?
klamacz 448 Posted April 7, 2006 well, I did not found order like that writen, but there is radio chat (sound) of ordering which can be heard like that. I think officer is saying: - 'engage' - 1st order to someona - 'position eg60' - reply to question 'where are you' if i'm right, there is no engaging position or suppresive fire this way sorry
Chunder 0 Posted April 8, 2006 uh, suppressive fire is still aiming to kill... just shooting more erratically to keep heads down.
