I tried turning that island in a photo editor and I have to say that it really does'nt look like sahrani to me.

my guess, which is all it was after being bored today and just surfing maps and what not was also based on the islands actual look on the ground.

When I looked at the screenshots of arma, and compared them to the images I googled of the island and region (north of Venezuela) they where similar. Kind of a old european/spanish style.

Palm trees, sqaured up buildings, church's similar in size and shape to old OFP, some modern areas to Margarita and maybe ArmA? Also some run down, small villages with shacks...

Looks can be deceiving.

What I'd really like is if Mr. Porter would 'leak' some official docs containing a list of 'commands' that his superiors might use to ..... ah ... what am I doing?...I just wan't a pre-release scripting reference damnit!!!!

Yeh, that'd be cool. Otherwise we'd have to wait at least another 2 months after the release before we get some good missions.

Lots of developers do this right? Valve comes to mind, I think they released their dev-kit before the release of HL2.

Me thinks that maybe William Porter has been captured by the DRSA (Democratic Republic of Sahrani Army) and held for interrogation. Or maybe he's been court-martialled by his CO for publishing secret information!

William has been quite as of late.

Maybe something has happened, like friendly fire or a road side bomb. Hope he's ok, or we may never know whats going on 'over there'.

I've heard that they'll be pulling out soon....
