Been Gone a While, Couple of Questions

Well, I've been away from ofp for a while, and I come back to a couple of pleasant suprises.

ECP and FFUR.

They are both good, I like some things about both. ECPs shared AI info is great, along with it's talking AIs (I wish you could disable all but the combat chatter though, no noise disipline).

FFUR handles grenades better generally than ECP, although it's practically impossible to throw accurately from a run. It also adds leaning and rolling, wich is great. It's sound effects are also worlds better than ECPs with the exception of ecps bullet wiz effects. Top this off with better graphics, etc.

So, here's the questions.

1. FFUR is great, but there's one thing I really dislike about it. Excessive hand shake. I'm more steady with a rifle in a Standing unsupported fireing position than the game is is a prone supported position. Looking with binoculars/scopes is a little ridiculous. This makes me consider, how exactly is shake modeled in the game. Is it Global, or modeled for individual weapons, or even soilders. If it's global, or even per soilder, I'd consider moding it myself to ditch that effect, but I need to know where to start looking. Since OFPEC is down, my first and best lead for those needs is gone.

2. Has there been any talk of unifying these projects? They both have their qualities, and if you take the best of both worlds, you'd end up with a truly amazing mod.
