BD 2nd Rifle Core

OFP´s AT weapons are a s@#$ to use. A poor 2ndrifle anims will help. I can´t wait anymore.

hmm in that pic is a prone anim, then there also already exists a standing animation, isn'T there a way to combine them and and simulate the at weapons primary weapon?

Who needs to simulate it when you can do it for real... wink_o.gif

Once the anims exist (that's the hard part), they can be introduced to the config and then AT weapons could work just like primary weapons in terms of character movement.

kneeing animation: exists in standard ofp

prone animation: following the pic i would say orcs has one, dunno if it is released

It takes more than 3 animations to make.  wink_o.gif  You need running forwards, backwards, sideways, etc. and transition, reload, and death animations, you're talking somewhere around 30 anims for each stance (stading, crouch, prone).

KS and all... this is great. but i see where you explained how to use the RHS one but i must be brain dead today cause i cant figure it out.

1. place BOTH game logics on map. 2nd rifle int, and rhs weapons logic.

2. please rhs units on map

3. how can i find the units w/ the second weapons? do i need to enter anything into the units int?

sorry to be lame and need someone to hold my hand on this one. sad_o.gif

There must have been some strange voodoo taking place these past few days, cause all these old threads are coming back to life! crazy_o.gif

stingfish74, none of the units start with a secondary rifle by default, but you can use the "Weapon on Back" action to sling your primary weapon, and then you can pick up another. If you aren't getting any of the actions, you must have installed something wrong - make sure you have installed the new "RHS...scripts.pbo" files so that they override the old ones.

ok, ill try that.... sorry. im brain dead this week.

another lame question tho... i LOVE the RHS weaps, and dont recall, but what is the best/fastest way to have the rhs weaps available for pickup? or.... maybe is there a int script i can use that will give them 2 right from the start.

in all your screenshops, i see your units have 2nd weaps. how did you get them? only way i know is to kill a unit, then pick up his weap. pistols.gif

Either use an ammo crate (Empty -> RHS Ammo) or learn how to use scripting commands (which I'm too tired to explain and this isn't the proper place to do it).

Sorry for hijacking this thread (meh I felll beign hijacker pretty much these times tounge2.gif )

But anybody have that edited RHS Core file from 2nd page ? I am bumping this, beacause I hope that somebody will recgonize it and reupload smile_o.gif
