Sadico 1 Posted February 21, 2002 In Red Hammer there are several missions you must do alone against a lot of enemies, for example, the mission were you and another soldier must steal a chopper and escape the island, but the most rambo style mission is the first one you do as a spetznaz. You must take out 3 generals with your sniper rifle and just one team mate. The bad thing is: you just can't shoot'em all from outside the town, so i finally had to kill as many soldiers as i could from outside, pick up a Steyr Aug and a LAW from death soldiers, kill 2 m113's, a shitload of soldiers, and enter the town to kill the generals. And there is another mission that is even worse. You must enter a russian prision, alone, and equiped with a resistance AK-47 and rescue another guy. It's very hard... digitalcenturion 20 Posted February 21, 2002 I am currently @ that spetznatz mission in red hammer, only played it once and i screwed up. Tried to get to the other side of village but my mate got shot so i decided what the #### and emptied a couple of clips into the yanks there but they overran my sniping position. Too many of them... maybe you should snipe as many as you can from the hill/mountain and then rambo, like you suggested...? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Sadico 1 Posted February 21, 2002 Your best bet is to kill one of the Steyr AUG guys and pick up his gun. Everything is easier with that gun. Try to isolate one of that guys, kill him when there is a rock between him and the other enemies, that way it's easier to pick up his gun. Save the game after getting the AUG. Also try to get the LAW, cuz there will be APC's around. If you decide to snipe, remember to move after every few shoots, or they will locate your position and rape you. Guest Titanium Posted March 4, 2002 I beat the entire camping (on cadet mode so far) and the only probs i had were with te mission "sabetour" and "red dawn". I have played Pathfinder now with the help of some of my fellow forum users, and now I can make it all the way through with no casualties(sometimes maybe one or two). Akira 0 Posted March 6, 2002 I basically ran ahead of my squad in the first town...headed through the trees while they went down the road (idiots)....they started taking fire...thats when I pop out BEHIND the enemy and gun em down. Haven't lost one member of the squad this way (though I died a couple times...took practice). The second town ran ahead too. Took out the Shilka myself. All the baddies started showing up, and since I was IN the town, while the squad was on the out skirts....was able to ambush most of the attacking infantry (again...took practice). Trevoga 0 Posted March 7, 2002 During mission where you need to assasinate 3 officers was fairly difficult, but what I did I snipped guys at check point, then when I could move more easily I crawled to the bushes about 150 meters from where officers jeep was, started killing soldiers, that guard officer inside. Nice fields of fire. M113 came out, the one that is not button down. Shot the driver in the head, then waited for gunner to get out, (he will, after 8-15 sec) Shoot him and took it over M113. Put my other guy as a gunner. As soon as I saw the other M113, I jumped out, shot it. Jumped back in drove through the town, my gunner shooting everyone.
