j w 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Well, it was a lost project. But now I'm back. Still got alot of work to do, but I'm getting there. Can you guess what it is? If not, here are some clues; Some minor modelfaults, wich will be corrected before release: The cromed line around the windows whas dragged around too much so it got wierd. The midsection is a bit offcentered. Right now, its only the 0.000 lod that is limo-ed, so I got some work left. But, hang tight and wait for release. (NOTE: Model and textures are made by DR Cars Team, modified by me. If you have questions about the model or textures, turn to DR Cars Team. I will not reply to any questions about base model, only on the modification of the model.) Planned for version 2.0: Lower car about two inches (in scale) to make it more "cool". The sunroof will be a panorama roof stretching the whole way of the roof. The scripts from Kurtz Ferrari F1 will make the topspeed 240-250km/h Add armor, to make it a armored transport for governemental people, such as mayors etc. If you have a wish of something to the Mercedes? IM me or simply post here. //JW
Carlen 0 Posted February 5, 2006 mayby just me but the appility pĺ put different flags on the front as you can se in many pictures of govermential limos. Also an open the door script and a few new Secret Service style bodyguards would be cool
j w 0 Posted February 5, 2006 Open door scripts stays About Secret-Service guys. It would be really cool to have bodyguards/driver for this, but I'm not that good...
456820 0 Posted February 5, 2006 looks pretty good apart from those faults you said. A bodyguard would be nice for a driver maybe just a retextured BIS civillian would do it. This addon has just given me an idea a body guarding mission. Good work keep it up
BlackScorpion 0 Posted February 5, 2006 If you have a wish of something to the Mercedes? Enlongate it, put dozen pairs of wheels under it and add a pool and a chopper landing pad. Lol, just kidding. Looks nice, apart from the errors. The textures seem to apply correctly, I've seen some cars that have nice textures but they don't fit the model, I think you know what I mean... It'll be nice cruising around with this, maybe I'll give this to Guba and try to stop him...
@cero 0 Posted February 5, 2006 ...About Secret-Service guys. It would be really cool to have bodyguards/driver for this, but I'm not that good... Ah, many said that before and now they belong to the OFP addon creation slave world. LOL Maybe one day you get fed up of working in the car and want to try to modifie the civies? Then you'll realize that you can really do more than that and make some nice weapons for them, and next thing you know you are working in a full pack, the VIP pack. You never know, you never know. That car is looking sweet BTW. Regards. @CERO.
chris330 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Can you guess what it is? It's an extremely snazzy looking Mercedes Limo. Looks great Let us know when it's finished
j w 0 Posted February 6, 2006 One problem. The rims are so frikkin' boring. You gotta have some style? Someone good at texturing, might could consider of making a texture of a cool rim, like from Giovanna or something. A few suggestions (Giovanna, OZ and MOMO). Someone want to help? Feel free to give suggestions if you want to see some other rims. I might try myself, but I'm not the best texturemaker... //JW
456820 0 Posted February 6, 2006 how about these http://www.tiresforlessmn.com/image/6081089.jpg http://www.crazynutracing.com/images/P1010130.JPG and i cant find a pic of a dollar sign one that would be cool
chris330 0 Posted February 6, 2006 Those alloys look very nice, but the only thing I would say (and this is only a suggestion) is if you are intending it to be used as a government owned vehicle I think ordinary trims would suit it better as a state owned vehicle would not necessarily want to attract attention or be run by the kind of people who would appreciate alloys? Perhaps you could release a government version and a sporty version with nice alloys
