I posted some kind of update, if you can call it that way on the ofp.info forums few weeks ago:

I don't see the point in releasing it in the current status because I belive someone with moderate scripting skill can do the same as I did.

There are two rotating untextured boxes (wheels) since this is an vehicle addon. And I use them to locate the drag vehicle. That can be easily removed.

You can drag the guy no matter if he can walk or not, it only checks if he's alive and if he is injured enough.

You can "push" him (go in reverse), all OFP vehicles can go in reverse except the airplanes, but to avoid using Fwatch and some quirks with it, I used the bike class, and it looks more realistic that way. When you "push" him, no animations are played. It looks odd anyways.

When dragging downhill, you speed up, and the dragging unit looks like M.J. doing the Moonwalk, even with limited max speed, when you go downhill, it doesn't matter.

When you initiate the drag action, you are teleported into the "drag vehicle" whitch is oddly enough created 2-3 meters to the right of the injured unit.

Anyways, I'll see what I can do to make it opensource for anyone to modify it.

Good question. Dragging wounded is the one of very important things that OFP lacks. There were some attempts IIRC on the OFPEC forum some time ago but AFAIK they all were abandoned. The one of the attempts I remember and had big hopes conected to it was General Barron's work at Old OFPEC forum topic. (unfortunately links for images apparently are broken sad_o.gif ) When I asked General Barron about this project some time ago he said:

It sits collecting dust in my HD. I ran into some snags configuring the anims. I really, really hate anims and their mysterious configs, so I haven't felt like trying to figure it out yet. "One of these days" I might...

So maybe we should ask, beg or bribe GB to look at it again wink_o.gifnotworthy.gifpistols.gifwhistle.gif Maybe animation magicians like Sanctuary or Fab and Sengir could help him? icon_rolleyes.gif

Maybe if the two combined, GB sending Sniperwolf the progress he got, and then Sniperwolf, using GB's work as reference implemented the fixes required nd included Mac's animations.
