Great Websites of the World

Recommended Posts

Googlefight

Ever wondered who would win a fight between God and the devil?

Now you can find out with Googlefight. Simply type your combatants into the fields and start the fight. Great for settling arguments like "My dad's harder than your dad".

Readprint.com

This is a great site if you like to read classic books. There are loads of novels here all readable from the screen. Edgar Allen Poe, Jules Vern and many more. Try using a speach program to read the novels for you. War of the Worlds read by a machine? Great.

man....that was boring....I mean, it's done very easily if you just put your face right up to the screen, beginning with Level 3 when the walls are just about as wide as your blue dot. smile_o.gif

I mean, just get close to the screen, concentrate on that little dot, and move the mouse slowly....and there's no excitement to it....

want to know how good you are at typing, try that, its fun

http://www.typera.tk/

you need to register but a valid email address is not required. And if you wish to know, I am bad, I get about 220.

Your score: 212 keys per minute ~ 42 words per minute

Language/mode: classic-du

Ranking: Not bad!

Comparison: 65% of registered TyperA users using this language have typed a better result; 35% have a lower or equal result.

You typed: makerij kussen poppenkast sneeuwpop aanval strik keyboard toneel schaver kooi nmaker pieten vrijheid barbiepop hartstikke offline bestuur gids ladder accupunctuur kaart vader bankbiljetten regionaal boekentas hospital dierentuin rugzak

Mistakes: hartstikke(harstikke), accupunctuur(accupuntuur)

got a bit lower on the sentence version, because the program cant spell some dutch words correctly wich made them crappy to read tounge2.gif

Arg, this Thing can't spell German words... ^^

Got 261 words and that was already fast for me biggrin_o.gif

Anyway, it's easier to reach higher scores in english for example, because in general the words are not as long or one word in german makes two words in english.
