Outstanding work Nephilim. Realy nice models and some groovy scripting.

I dont get the IR stick error atall and have had some good fun using them.

Could you please post the name of the IR stick model as i Couldn't see it in the readme and would like to have the option to Createvehicle\camcreate them aswell.

If you,re not happy about releasing that info for some reason then no problem. Outstanding job none the less.

PS.: It's incompatible with TCP_TestDog.pbo addon (probably TestDog addon's issue? I don't know if it's the latest version of this addon - PBO size is 729516bytes) when mercs are used together with the dog addon, strange things gonna happen:

maybe looking inside the config.cpp will give you a hint on what to type with a this addweapon "blablabla" or this addmagazine "blablabla".

But the patchs we're currently making will be quite huge because they will OVERWRITE a bunch of FFUR\addons files in the goal to allow you playing with "duplicated" addons without any problem.

Even if the patchs will be quite bigs (~100/200 MB) your FFUR addons sizes won't change so much,though, perhaps they'll even decrease.

And finally you have to know that this bug isn't due to FFUR but to the fact that you still have somewhere this addon :

These are great units, Neph. Thanks a lot. FWIW, I'm getting the skinny wrist/bare arm bug also, but I DO NOT have the dog addon, so I don't think that's the only culprit.

The skinny wrist is caused by the animation pack you're using (probably the 'DMA Next Gen' pack), not by the dog addon. The dog addon (AFAIK) only causes the upper torso, and lower portions of the head ('hrudnik' selection I think) to warp to the ground (see screenshots throughout this thread).

I also have wrist bug (thin wrist with huge watch), and double hands on someone, not sure who.

Another thing is in 2nd rifle script, Steyr Aug has no textures when on back.

About drag script:

Is it possible to make that you drop the soldier if you crouch or lie down? It's kinda weird. crazy_o.gif

Anyways nice new scripts and an awesome addon.

(Note to EricJ: It wasn't a single mission, but an campaign, I made about 15 missions and was about to send you another bunch of lines, but HDD fucked up one of my partitions and I lost them all, I send HDD to a company that says they can retreive the data from malfunctioning HDD's but I'm not getting my hopes up.)

is it only me who has the laser pointer problem? -it appears that it has been created using two different beams (which is very cool if I'm right bcause it will looks like real laser beam) but only the first one is loading, second is not (..?):

Ahh, okay, I was wondering if that was the problem. I actually have the DMA Patrol pack, but either way, sounds like that's the problem.

ive updated the missing textures

anyway

ill repeat myself once again

the distraction script and carry/humanshield script

have to be inserted into the ENEMIES Init line.

animation errors caused for the dead guy when using

the humanshield script are errors in the model structure

of the enemy

thats not my fault or the scripts.

the fn p90 aswell as the hkmk23 are finished yet

they are inlcuded but not done.

also

the laserpointer on jennifer and david have been setup to work on these to weapons

david >p90

jenny >mk23

as the p90 is a rifle flashlights and laserpointer

will work best on rifle types

and jenny ´s light and pointer iwll only work properly with

guns

the rifle bag was similar to the 2ndrifle script

it allows you to carry a rifle inside hte bag

layit down and retrive the rifle form within the bag

however its not done yet

aswell as the swimming script.

if you lot would have really read the readme carefully

you wouldnt complain or ask about these things...

rfj_mercs.PBO >models, cfg,scripts

rfj_mercs_d.PBO >textures

rfj_wpns.PBO dummy weapons for 2ndriflescript.

Try using this unit with BIS animation, you will notice the same problem :

im aware of the problem on the first picture(already fixed)

the next two arent texture problems

its rather the weighting and OFP anims itself that create

that screw the look of the arm

about that skinny wrist on erics arm..

in vbs1 it looks very well

so it must be a OFP anim thingy

dunno why its so

ill look into this

they contain more "regular" units in total
