I don't know if this is how lybia's soldiers look like but this remindes me of the bad guys in action films from the 80ties.

No problem it was a last minute addition I added this morning. Thanks goes to Shadow NX who granted me permission to use the RHS crew helmet this morning

BTW: This won't be the last release, maybe I will add a small vehicle pack later and some new soldiers

Sounds excellent

Have you thought of giving them random faces from Liquid snakes fantastic arabic face pack, in further updates? I think that they would match the arabic faces found in that region perfectly.

Tried to but somehow I didn't got the script working so I leave setting the face to the mission makers for now

Really nice Addon m8,but do you think a version without the weapon pack would be possible?Imagine one would like to add those to his mission - he is forced to also download the weapon pack by 50mb ,that is a lot for units of just one side.Perhabs you could release another version with jam or orginal bis weapons?

The libyan army doesnt use any american hardware I believe, I think it would be best to equip the machine gunner with a PK.

Crew has the perfect weapon as does the normal soldier and the officer.

I think that berets are used alot in the libyan army also, so a beret unit would be a most welcomed addition.

And Ghaddafi has alot of females in the military, any chance for a female unit?

If there's enough demand I will make a version with other weapons but for now just use "this removeallweapons" or something like that. IIRC the weapon pack isn't required to start up the addon as long as you change the weapons in the editor

They actually use FN MAG's but instead of using a third party FN MAG together with and AK pack I have chosen for one big weapon pack. The M240 is just a placeholder untill Jackal adds a MAG to his weapon pack

Berets can be added off course and no female unit since that would require a lot of remoddeling

I believe the EE-9 is more post Chad-Libya conflict. After all their expensive T72's got their butt kicked by the Chad army (mostly blown to pieces by ATGW's supplied by France and the US and locally mounted on jeeps) they decided that they would need a faster hit-and-run vehicle.

Their first clash with Libyan forces followed on 2 January 1987, near Fada: during a short battle, a whole Libyan armored brigade was decimated: 784 Libyan troops were killed, 92 T-55 MBTs and 33 BMP-1 AFVs were destroyed, while 13 T-55s and 18 BMP-1s were captured and 81 Libyans were taken POW. All of this in exchange for 18 dead Chadian troops and three destroyed Toyota trucks!

Lt. Damage's Hilux would be a bit modern for the setting, I would think.

Also, I would really consider some alternative to downloading 50-something SJB weapons to just use 3 from the pack.

If I would do that, people would have to download 3 different types of weapons plus the AKS-47 is not available in any other pack (please correct me if I am wrong). And when it would require 3 packs people would whine about that they have to download 3 different addons to get this addon to work.

My point is that I try to please as many people as possible but I can't please everyone.

I am not really good with making faces, but i tried to make one starting from this neutral face (difficult to find an usable "neutral" position from Kadhafi/Gaddafi on Google, he always look to a side or have a big smile )

so i made this trying to remove the big light to have a more tanned skin, a bit like Victor Troska skin color.

Ingame it result in this

Difficult to have a Khadafi look , as the BIs heads can't reflect the specific hair cut he has :/
