@SFG

hah, interesting choice, i have all of mahlers symphonies on my ipod, but his no3 and 2 are the most memorable for me.

Though to be on the same topic, my picks would be:

ad_eKQh4ru8

well, all his late string quartets are masterpieces, but its my most favorite movement.

I have all his symphonies too. Amazing stuff. I saw the 2nd symphony live back in May. Auferstehen, ja auferstehen!

Your links are not working for some reason. Beethoven quartets?

Although these are stream only these are very good classical & film music mixes (Brian Eno / Vangelis / Craig Armstrong / Thomas Newman & loads more) which are pretty rare to find on the net, 4 parts, very well put together:

I'm in a Symphonic Black Metal vibe, so here go:

7OBElCaOVfk
The first Black Metal video from Armenia!

It is presented on DVD of Blood Covenant released by Darknagar Records on the 20th of February, 2011. Enjoy!

NcCWvEUHRN4

Changing a bit the pace, this is a show by the japanese Doom Metal band Corrupted in it's US East Coast 1997 tour.

(If you have about 3 hours to spare, consider watching both videos.)

WARNING! If you are not into extreme metal and shouted/growled vocals, don't listen. Also, this is pretty slow paced, so most metal listeners might not like.

WARNING! [2] This is a raw VHS non-edited video, so there are some glitches and things of the like, but the low-quality of the video add some to the songs IMHO.

One of my favorite piano transcriptions of Paganini's Etude by Liszt

at 2:30 you can hear the theme that Horner "borrowed" for his Soundtrack in Enemy at the gates

A truly great one Igneous01, didn't know people still listen to music like this.

I usually listen to fast and agressive music that "pumps you up", like KMFDM. Have some:

I think they are great, even tho people say their latest albums suck.

I can strongly recommend oceans eleven/twelve/thirteen music when editing, full of smooth jazz and similar
