For some reason I'm finding myself listening to all the old Airut songs from the FDF mod in OFP. They kickass! Even if I don't understand a word they're saying...

Tangerine Dream - Live in Poland 1983. Excellent concert and quality, mine record is straight from the black vinyl. Wish I had a time machine to embrace this concert.

Hehe, just could not resist. Reading a bit through the thread I don't think it is many peoples taste

My album of the last year at the moment (still have to catch up to music):

Atmosphere - When life gives you lemons you paint that shit golden (Great track: Puppets - if someone actually wants to buy the album, get the "limited" edition, it is really nice)

They also released a free to download album a while ago, get it here from their labels site:

Strictly Leakage

Some Albums and a song I like in parenthesis:

P.O.S - Never better (Let it rattle - some great songs, some I don't like at all)

Sage Francis - A healthy distrust (Sea lion)

Problemaddicts - The first step (Hurting)

Cunninlynguists - A piece of strange (Since when)

Blue Scholars - Bayani (North by Northwest)

Common Market - Common Market (G'dang diggy)

And some random music videos:

Packfm - Plucking Daisies

Brother Ali - Take me home

Blackstar - Definition

Oh yeah, I used to listen to more "thread compatible" music some years ago, what comes to my head right now is:

Desaparecidos

Favez

Aereogramme

hmm, can't really remember more now. If anyone knows something similar I would really like to read about it.

Recently I've gotten back into Ween. I guess i never went away I just didn't appreciate them for the outstanding musicians they are.

They are not bound by a genre which people don't like but they always sound like Ween.

My usual taste's are Metal (not f***ing Nu-Metal) blues and roots and love a bit of classical, but I find with Ween that their country songs or UK pop songs really do something for me its weird. I f***ing hate country man, but Ween put such a good spin on it, ah their just really f***ing great.

"Dude, do you have to use so many cuss words?"

"What the f*** are you talking about man?"

"Have it your way Dude"

The Coen brothers are the Ween of the film industry...:D

I love Ween, fantastic band, great musicians and writers.

Other bands on my current playlist are Clutch ( a bloody great rock band ), Nicklecreek ( bluegrassey, great writers and players ). Other bands that never leave my playlist are Pink Floyd ( Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and my fave floyd album, Animals ), Led Zep ( just about everything they have ever done, I love ), Roy Harper ( just brilliant ), King Crimson ( 3 of a Perfect Pair ).

Did I mention I love Ween?

Sorry but I'm not a native tongue.

Thanks in advance.

I went to see Rammstein last night in Manchester & they were unreal, I'd definitely recommend them if you like a bit of heavy stuff. personally Im into all sorts of music from 70's rock to Hard house, the only things I dont like are jazz, swing, opera & RnB

I've been to Rammstein too a few weeks ago, amazing show they put up, and fortunately they play their old songs quite a lot. I dont reallt like their new stuff...

THe 17th im going to a gig of Xavier Rudd, really looking forward to that. Check him out if you're into slide-guitar and didgeridoo :D

Oh, and Radio Moscow is a recent discovery (gotta love last.fm), lovely heavy guitar-driven songs á la Black Keys

I'm not the biggest fan on earth but on the 20th I will be going to see AC/DC. I have this fear of being severely beaten up for pointing out extreme mullets. ( for those of you not familiar with the mullet, its a haircut mostly seen in the late 80's early 90's but is still prevalent to this day. It consists of a shorter trim on the top and sides and an almost flowing main at the back. The back can vary in length and be straight or curly/permed). (oh, and a spike on the top is just kick ass, especially on women, he he)

I'll have to remember not to lol. But it should be good and I'll probably never get a chance to see them again. Pfft actually they'll probably never stop touring, but I'm going anyway.

Conscious I look like a bogan. I better post some of the bands I like just to be safe.

In not particular order:

Ween

Tool

Primus

Pink Floyd

The Smashing Pumpkins

System of a Down

36 Crazy Fists

The Chemical Brothers

Most Classical Music

John Butler (till he sold his soul to the corporate record labels and became shite)

There's more but I cannot think at the moment.

At The Drive In; Cedric and Omar's previous band.

I quite like Mars Volta when they're not messing around too much. Took a few tries to get into though.

Hi Daniel

thanks for enlighten me. Yeah The Mars Volta is not some easy listening. saw them last year in Milan. The gig was a blast. 3 hours of non stop music. It was real great, even Cedrics voice live is not everytime perfect. In a record studio you can edit voices heavily, meanwhile live it's not possible, but it was great nevertheless.

Stay tuned

Music producer from Warsaw, Polska.

Cool retrospective music to listen while walking through empty streets on a winter night.
