Very nice music, Sibelius is of course hard to miss here. :) I liked much that guitar track, I wish I could play like that. I play acoustic guitar myself (8 years already) and have been playing last aroud half year almost only with finger picking. But still a long way to that. :D

As some may haven noticed, I like my old rock music. Here's another good one, this one from the 70's.

Continuing with my preference for video game soundtracks, here's a good track from a great, yet overlooked game:

I wish they would come here too. They are performing in Sweden on next week, but though it would be quite expensive trip to went there. But some day, I must see them live too. :)

'Apples' by Efterklang. Their new album 'Piramida' is well worth a listen

Very nice song. Gets more and more catchy. Need to check that band better :) Very difficult to find good new bands to listen. Many bands seem to have one or few good songs and then much fillers or repeats. I hate to buy albums that at the end dosent offer much.

Daniel Rossen threw out new cool acoustic demo song week ago:

He may post more demo songs time to time in his soundcloud account:

One . . . if not the best album of Colosseum II

B3MMsUn1Sl0

I love this song. listening to the magic voice of Mike Starrs reminds me of how creative music was in the 70's. Outstanding performance a true piece of art.

Stumbled over this album the other day,

the sort of band/music you need on your Ipod to strutt too.

That Colosseum II sounds nice. Somehow reminds of Deep Purple. Just more jazzy. :)

The Natural Yogurt Band have quite similar sound than the most experimental sampled songs in the first Department of Eagles album - The Cold Nose. Similar drumming at least. :)

Grizzly Bear sent quite superb holiday greetings, playing the new album melodies with e.g. grand piano:

Quite skillfull guys. :D
