weapon qualities defined by weapon

i searched for this using search strong weapon AND magazine and found lots of intersting subject (10 pages) but none were spot on.

and because i think this is a critical aspect needed in game 3 i mention it here.

ATM the magazines define the guns handling qualities. so a fn-fal and g3 and m14 would all handle the same even though they are very different guns. unless you define a new magazine for each of them and then you can't use JAM really which is a great initiative and really makes using multiple addons in a mission easy.

i'd propose a different way of handling it.

allow ammo to contain ammo characteristics of bullet calibre, FMJ, AP, etc.

but (and this is the important part IMO) allow the weapons to each have their own handling characteristics. things like the guns weight (which influences recoil and speed of swinging it around, etc), its firing mechanism (gas, etc).

however, i am not aware if this is possible now, so i have posted it in config question section rather than new game suggestions (which is where it should be if this feature is not in ofp now).

Well , that's we've done in FFUR, each weapon has a different recoil , different ammos values,each weapon has its own ironsight (new ones based on real life ones) and smoke occured while firing

If you want to set your own own recoil then check the cfgrecoil

ammunitions -> cfgammo

weapons -> cfgweapons

weapon ironsight -> class xXx / modeloptic=
