gonk 0 Posted September 8, 2005 Hi This may have been discussed earlier (I have searched and found nothing) but how about setting up some sort of peering to help distribute add-ons/mods. Eg if you join a Server and are lacking some of the add-ons maybe grab the missing add-ons off the other players as well as the server. Just to lighten the load on the Server. gonk 0 Posted September 8, 2005 I already use this program however it connects to only one server at a time. Plus it requires people to know of its existence. I just what to simplify the task and have something like that built in. But instead on down loading it from the single server, share the load to multiple pc's. BIS cater very well to the MOD community but to install mods usually requires some file management. A lot of people just want it to run, so to peering to get the mods/add-ons might be a simpler solution...and then again it might not. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
