SJB Weapons Pack Released

Well, after over 18 months of development, the SJB Weapons Pack is finally ready for a full public release. The pack contains almost 200 weapons ranging from handguns (Colt 1911, SIG SAUER P228 etc.) to sub-machineguns (MP5s etc.) and assault-rifles (M16A4s, AK47s, M4A1s, LR300s etc.). Also included are a range of sniper-rifles (M24s, M21s, M82A1s, PSG1s etc.). A download link can be found at the bottom of this post.

Weapons marked with a * denote that they come in woodland camo-painting, and the ** indicates that the weapon also comes in a desert camo-scheme.

All the weapons are also available in the mission editor under 'WEST > SJB WEAPONS' and are being carried by a default WEST Soldier (SoldierWB). I also plan to add various ammo-crates in the future updates.

I just had a CTD with 3 SJB units on screen.

Colt Commando was what i was picking up when i had the  CTD.

The other 2 were SR25 and M9 (I dont think they caused it)

EDIT: Just to clarify, I blasted one of my guys to pick up his weapon to try it out when it crashed...there were no other units ingame at the time.

Absolutely incredible, I can now try my modified HYK soldier pack. Changed all the weapons and added new soldiers a few days ago since Jackal had released the class names early

This is so far one of the best "Weapons pack" ever done for OFP, I'm especially impressed by sounds !

There are a lot of weapons , but one can notice that each weapon has been accomplished thoroughly.

I repeat again : This is a MUST Download !

I have just tested it out, FANTASTIC!!! This is the one stop shop really, for American weaponry. I love the LR-300, and the SG-552.

My only "gripe" if you can even say that is the M-16A4/M203 only comes in vanilla, no optics. But I'll live Great job once again Jackal!!!

Tested now. Looks great, though 1 thing, only 1 thing that doesn't really matter, just beacause I'm lazy.

You should have made some difference in the editor between the M82A1 and the Barret M82A1.

Finally some very well done Mp5s, and the UMP...that was what I was looking for most!

The UMP and MP5's are very well done. I love the UMP especially. It feels really good. The camo-weapons are nice and I really like the desert ones (nice colour and pattern is not too dominant) and the snow one (VERY well done and not over-done). I also love the M82 SD. Extemely nice work.

One nice detail is the compensated versions of the Glock. VERY well done. Those are interesting pistols. I also LOVE the Beretta 93R. It's just a pleasure to fire that one burst after burst

But no pack is perfect;

-the elcan sights seem to big

-the ammoboxes on the M249 (5.56) are just as wide as the ones on the M240 (7.62cal). The are too wide (in the length of the gun I mean)

-the M249 bipod is missing the little 'feet' at the bottom.

-All M203 camouflaged guns have an M203 which is darker than the rest and doesn't fit in. Looks strange

-SR25 sounds feel a bit too weak, especially since it's a 7.62cal (!! ) weapon.

I really love this weaponpack. It's really good, although it's indeed missing a G3

BUG REPORT

-It would appear that the suppressed M-4's have an optics error. I was toying with units I didn't try the first time and I get this error ERROR LOADING SJB_OPTICS\OPTIC_EOTECH_SD_SD.P3D (MAGIC). This occurred on several of the suppressed M4 Grenadiers.
