Rogue2020 0 Posted January 18, 2002 Well I like my force feedback......never had it fly around for putting to much pressure on it but it's nice in games....adds realism.... In some flight type games it adds G-force effects....
heyvern69 22 Posted January 18, 2002 If you need it now, I'd go with the X-45. If you have more money, and can wait a few months, I would REALLY look into that Thrustmaster Cougar. It's supposed to be the end-all, be-all of joysticks, the best of the best, you will never want for another throttle/joystick in your life, kind-of thing. The TM Cougar really, really, REALLY looks awesome. But it's more for flight sim fans. If you're just into light gaming, then the X-45 is less expensive and should be fine. The layout is actually pretty good and its got a nice sturdy base, problem is the twisting z-axis. Â With mine, when I twist to the right, it reads it as twisting to the left, unless I go ALL the way to the right. Â Ive recalibrated many times and even reinstalled the drivers, no fix. Also, no matter how big I set the dead zone its still ULTRA-sensitive. Â I wouldnt recomend buying anything from the WingMan series either....<span id='postcolor'> I got a wingman extreme digital 3d and yep you`ve guessed it,the damn twist rudders gone all freaky too
