major woody 11 Posted July 9, 2006 Quote[/b] ]CSLA Armored -> BS-3 Field Gun Yep! I'm aware of that - the one I mention is a towed version! I have'nt been able to find that version of this gun yet. I've only found the bs3_towed.p3d file in the csla_arm.pbo file. Who knows - maybe it only exist as such file...

Sgt_Eversmann 1 Posted July 12, 2006 max filesize of a picture allowed is 100kb better you fix that fast, or Placebo will punish you! sorry for off topic but I just can't understand why it's so hard to understand on picture filesize max 100kb

raedor 8 Posted July 13, 2006 Very nice pic (But no need to post it triply) /edit: Seems you have it filled up with new pics...
Messiah 2 Posted July 13, 2006 very nice lannies (speaking from someone who devotes alot of his time to them both in real life and in ofp)... there are a few very minor inaccuracies in the models/textures though, but I'm going to hunt around for Czech landrover pics first, to see if these exported versions do differ from their original counterparts. very very impressive... I do love land rovers you see [EDIT] looking through pictures, and my own knowledge... the Bonnet hood is too thick at the front: Picture You can see for yourself how thin they become once they reach the front of the vehicle. The front lights, indicators and sidelights seem to have a few issues with scale, although I'm not 100% certain from those pictures, and that the side lights are not modeled, its hard to tell: Picture Your side indicators are also too square, they should be more rectangular in shape. I have a close up detail photo of the side indicators: Picture and with that in mind, a lot of land rover details (vents, lights, side lights, hinges etc) that you're more than welcome to look at) The picture of the Des version, looks like the axel and diferential as been modeled a bit too small. I have the land rover owners maintanence PDF that shows a very good 3D diagram of how the axel and diferential looks. I was also going to say that they look a little squashed, but looking at the pic i linked to, they're spot on. I assume these use the older land rover base? (i.e. not the wolfs) - as thats what i was intially using as reference. Hope that helps in anyway, I've tried to be as constructive as possible.
raedor 8 Posted July 13, 2006 I can make some reference pics from every point you need of a civil land rover if needed.
Messiah 2 Posted July 13, 2006 same goes, although its a modern 110 defender, not the older military ones.
thesun 14 Posted July 13, 2006 Thanks guys, i also have the Land Rover maintenance, and I already know that there are some small inacuracies. But it's going to stay as it is for now...i've already started a new model which will be made with all the details (modelling wise). And also Me and my father are in the army so no refference pics are not needed as i can take them exactly like i want them to be.....and not to forgot.....THANKS for the input.
