I don't think that a name containing Operation sounds good, quite average, IMO. If it could contain Flashpoint (which should be possible, looking at "Flashpoint Germany"...) this would be the best solution, otherwise I'd vote for a completely new name.

I still like: "The Flashpoint Conflict"

There has already been a game called Tactical Ops (a former Unreal Tournament modification), and that might be a bit difficult with copyright issues too

Tactical Operations would be too similar as well, as are all the other options you mentioned...

I don´t like the Name "Armed Assault" - AA ("Americas Army" acronym). I think when BIS use the OFP and not "Operation Flashpoint" its ok well ?

Also what about Red Storm rising, though there is a best seller Tom Clancy book named that way but its about the cold war too, every1 thats slightly intrested in how some of the fights could have been should read the book, though im wondering really of some parts tha Nato was lucky with that there was a revolt in the high command at the end

Very nice, but I don't think 'Force Cold War'  would be much popular if it still was Cold War.

EDIT: 'Operation Conflict Conflict', hehe. But this generator had some good suggestions too.

'Dangerous Battlefield Confrontation' is maybe normal.
