Llauma 0 Posted May 23, 2005 Thanks Llauma, will download now.Any hints on how to improve my playing performance? There are no real hints other than 'don't hunt for kills'. That is the main reason why people get killed. Having some guys next to you is a huge advantage. First of all you get some fire support and secondly the enemy has several targets so the chance that he targets you is smaller. The targeted guy can try to move into cover knowing that the squad will fire back at the enemy. If one of you gets killed there's a big chance that the group will notice the enemy and kill him. Nemesis6 0 Posted May 23, 2005 'don't hunt for kills'.. Kind of right, but if you don't take out what you see as a threat, that threat can get to someone else.
Llauma 0 Posted May 23, 2005 'don't hunt for kills'.. Kind of right, but if you don't take out what you see as a threat, that threat can get to someone else. Sure but if the soldier leaves the squad to chase down a enemy he might run into another squad, alert them and get shot. If a man runs away report it and the leader will decide which action should be taken, and most importantly your squad will become aware of the escaping enemy. What I mean by 'hunt for kills' includes also firing on a squad when not needed to. I don't doubt that you can take out 5-6 men patrol alone but there's a far bigger risk that you'll be killed if you do it alone than with some fire support. kavoven 4 Posted May 23, 2005 That was really cool yesterday, especially the incomming MIG when we wanted to push the boat back to the island. (The reason was, that I (driver of the second boat) was slightly too fast and rushed the beach up with the boat. Everybody got out and the boat slided back into the sea... ) Has anyone a Screenshot of that? Was a shocking moment *g* Looking forward for wendsday
