sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 20, 2005 Every time I type the letter "g" in Internet Explorer's address box the auto complete shows a url to a totally screwed up web site. I discovered this when I was typing in Google.com. I have no idea how this stupid site got into the auto complete as I've never been to it before. I cannot get rid of it at all. I've tried going to tools, internet options, content, auto complete, and then clicking clear forms but the stupid site stays. I've also used Spybot S&D and Ad Aware and it's still there. How can get rid of it?

Homefry 0 Posted April 20, 2005 I take it you have also tried clearing the history? EDIT: Haha, that'll teach me to reply before reading the entire post. Do you really want AutoComplete on? I'd just turn it off... myself. Or you could just switch to Firefox.
sputnik monroe 102 Posted April 20, 2005 I cleared the history all ready. I don't like auto complete at all. I did find the option to turn it off completely so that'll do I suppose. I can almost swear I had it turned off already though.
