Reven 0 Posted March 1, 2005 I have made a tiny utility which allows you to install OFP/OFPR addons simply by right clicking on them and selecting "Send to OFPR Addons" or similar. It works with OFP Addons, OFPR Addons, OFP MP Missions and OFP SP Missions. Screenshot Download Comments appreciated. I know it's small and doesn't dramatically cut down the time it takes to install files, but it has made my life easier and I figured "why not let others use it". I know some people just unzip directly into their Res\Addons folder but the annoying thing with zip programs is that you have to sift through your directories to get to the location you want if you use it to unzip files to other locations. Thanks.
hardrock 1 Posted March 1, 2005 Cool, nice tool! Does it work with mod folders too?
Commando84 0 Posted March 1, 2005 yeah good question, does it work with mod folders?
Reven 0 Posted March 2, 2005 It doesn't work with mod folders yet, but I may add links to popular mod folders in another version later. Thanks for the suggestions.
Thunderbird 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Great tool , very useful
Chiefy 0 Posted March 2, 2005 It's a nice tool but I just extract straight to the folder anyway, so I don't have much use for it.
Reven 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Well some big downloads can have files to go in different places such as both missions and addons, and don't come with an installer. That's my justification. I'll work on one for the popular mod folders as well.

Sepe 1 Posted March 2, 2005 I'll work on one for the popular mod folders as well. Does that mean like finmod, BAS and stuff? That's too bad for me then, as I don't categorize the addons to modfolders by makers but rather by the theme, like WW2, Vietnam etc. (And I have one modfolder called "Amerika" too, it's for BAS Deltas, HYK US Infantry etc) But well, WinRar is good enough for me anyway. Reven 0 Posted March 2, 2005 I have a friend who knows someone who has all the addons so can get me the locations of the addon folders. Then I'll bring out version 2.0. @Dinamite_Cow - yes, I will be adding links to the popular mod addon folders in version 2.0.

It would be better if you could make it so that we can set up the modfolders ourselves, that would be cool.
