I want your face - Female Facepack

Hello,

I'm currently in the throws of finishing the initial recordings for a female radio voicepack.  At the moment I'm still in need of a lot of config lessons, (currently I'm replacing the existing male voices to test the female ones - but eventually I hope to add the female voicepack as a standalone and have people apply the voices to their desired characters by the setidentity protocol in the description.ext)  I forsee a beta by at least April.

But along with this I am also doing a facepack on the side.  Currently there isn't much to choose from in the way of female character faces, and I'd like to extend the range of OFP to have a good female character range, other than the 6-7 we currently have now.  I've only just started some faces, however I'm having difficulty finding good example faces to use.  Here is a preview of the three ones I've found fit for inclusion into the pack... there's 10 others which still need tweaking because they look really really ugly when going through the emotion animations.

I eventually will be taking pictures and constructing faces from the women that I have been using to record the voices, but this is a long way yet.

So what I need from you, yes you!!    are pictures of females whom you'd like to be included in the face pack.

There are some specifications:

1.  They need to be front on, and level like this guy -> no high,low,profile,angle shots (they are too difficult to edit, as I've found out... sure it's possible to make a face from an angle shot but the results are too cartoonish)

2.   They need to be moderately to high resolution, the larger the more detail is included into the face.  Low-res pictures again look too cartoonish.

3.  If you are a girl or have a girl who would like me to make a face for you -> NO PROBLEM, Just send me a front on, side on, and if you want the reverse of your head (although this angle this isn't needed for the BIS female faces - can still be used on a male head if you want though)

4.  They need to be illuminated evenly.  Dark shadowy pictures are difficult to extract a decent face plate from.  Again it can be done, but the same cartoony image results.

5.  The person should be looking directly at the camera, I can edit the picture if this isn't the case, but it would be prefered.

6.  Their mouth should be closed and in a neutral position, smirks and smiles make the female faces look like the "Joker" in the OFP world.

(Also thicker lips translate onto a female OFP face better than thin lipped ones, but this is easy to fix with a cut and paste lip transplant)

Find pictures that meet the above requirements of yourself (if you are female), your favourite celebrity, friend, sister, mother, aunt, niece, grandmother, lover etc.. and forward them to this address: jgreynemo@yahoo.com - I will give you a reply to say whether or not the image(s) are useable and will add them to the library, (as well as giving you a PBO copy of your face to use, after the face is finished).

Anyhoo, would very much like to get some real people into this pack... as currently they're all too ... umm... pretty.

 

Shame about Avon not lending her mug... I was also retexturing some units for Israeli female soldiers in their fatigues... seeing as there is a plethora of images of Israeli women in the forces..   Oh well.

We really need more custom female faces in operation flashpoint that increases the amount of realty in some missions.
