Not with default Resistance, but once you have Resistance you can download packs that update the original three islands.

After installing the Resistance update you are able to use Mod`s that change everything in OFP.

I personaly use the Y2K3 Mod. With that every original unit will automaticly changed to up to date units, and that works not only for the infatery units. When you use the Y2K3 Mod,

you can play the old missions and campaigns with new units.

If you got a strong PC with good Grafikcard and much RAM, OFP can look soooo cool.
