I just dont understand what Merkel is thinking. There is a lot of critics to her refugees politics in the german government not only from opposition, but even from CSU, which is bavarian version of CDU - Merkels party.

Though it seems the government is trying to make Germany less attractive to refugees (by replacing pocket money with food and clothes), since it is expected that we have to accept over one million refugees in 2015 alone and our infrastructure cant take more.

Dunno what results it will take on rest of Europe, my guess is that the government will try to force other countries to accept more refugees too.

 

As for Bundeswehr attacking anyone, I guess if such decision comes, it will take some 20 years before it gets approved by countless bureaucrats :D and by then we wont have any tanks and rifles left in the army since new gear is meant to be used to depose yet another unwanted politician via a ministry of defense scandal.

what is happening is even more looking like "plans to holocaust natives"

our government (soon loosing elections) set proposals to ... liquidate social insurances as demand tax hours ago, which would mean totally private-bought medical care for citizens... so like USA before Obama or to mix all money within budget just as one tax (income tax) which would mean there is not separate health budget, pensions budget and money can flow from pensions and health to other parts of state budget

the same time "refugees" would get ALL FOR FREE

Pole, born in Poland : buy yourself medical care insurance if you have money left (if thats what they meant), buy yourself pension insurance if you can (if thats what they meant), take credit in bank to pay for flat

muslim that come and not work : free medical care, benefits, free of charge flat

 

what tha hell, only result of it would be total racism , they really want to make people go extreme, which means they do all to start civil war in Europe (on west with imigrants, here on economical inequalities and poverty)

modern western Europe has a lot of transparency - citizens control over politicians,

a lot of equalities , high standard of living ,

our politicians probably do not like it, they would prefer banana third world, oligarchy, feudalism etc.

countries from eastern europe want to be like west was in 90s - safety, family rich, social care , benefits, less work, so we want to live like Germans , French, Brits in 90s, not to be cheap labor colony (because internet made us see world abroad and western social system plus western labor rights)

what is needed to do change ? for sure not elections because noone would vote for party doing what Orwell prescribed in his famous book

Well the thing about overstrained infrastructure I was talking about earlier has just become reality.

 

In the article it says that 9200 refugees have already arrived today until evening and a total of 13000 is expected before the midnight in Munich.

The city authorities however do not know where to place all of them so approximately 4000 wont get a shelter for this night. Theyre thinking about turning the Olympiapark into shelter.

The city authorities also are pretty angry at the federation government and other federate states. 60000 refugees have arrived in Munich since 31 August but when asking about where to accomodate them all Berlin is just saying "Were working on it".

As it seems there is no real plan how to act right now.

Authorities lack the stuff like sleeping bags, sleeping mats and blankets.

Train connections might be cut for some time due to security reasons.

With the talk of an EU Coast Guard being pushed, it was pretty obvious that this issue would be raising its head again shortly. The UK may be bribed in to dropping its opposition to the creation of an EU Armed Forces and common Defence Procurement framework in exchange for a return of some border controls and legal powers:

Common procurement strategy that will almost certainly be dominated by the French and German companies, particularly since most of the French defence industry is at least part-owned by the state, and Germany is actively merging parts of its defense industry with France already (Airbus Group already, now a merger of KMW with Nexter).

 

I'm sure it's purely coincidental that Germany goverment stopped buying G36s a month after France started looking to replace FAMAS, and has seemingly done all it can to discredit the rifle since then in order to force a replacement tender of its own ahead of this latest push for common EU procurement. If the two countries don't end up wit the same rifle I'll be very surprised.
