This is kind of melodramatic, but overall an interesting political video:

Why would they?

Hi all

In Reply to GRS

The practice of avoiding a question by asking another does not answer the question.

Continuing in that vein in order to show its redundant nature.

Why would they not?

Kind Regards walker

Nice video, I'd hope anyone with a sense of empathy would have already known this though. Whenever the conversation comes up between friends I always bring in a scenario like this, they tend to go silent and make a sour face. It would be nice to see more of this attitude in public but I'm pretty sure those editors remove the more understanding and focus on the overly aggressive people when asking questions about the "war".

I wish they'd tax the rich just to shut up the whiners. Won't change anything but it'll be nice to not have to hear about it.

I wonder if this lady is still up for that.

If we are unable to change then we're just f***ed. No let me get this straight we're proper f***ed.

To be honest every decent person that gets a decent job offer will take it with their both hands, but still you have a point how about the principle will she still stand by her believes or will she say hey I got a job now. This puts you to thinking how fast people might change there minds about something that they opposed seconds ago .. I will add to it how many percentage will get something good out of it in the end?

Its like the guy above me is saying, if we don't want to change we will properly yeah that one ...

I didn't say if we don't want to change (who wouldn't?). I said if we are unable to change. We are still not desperate enough to achieve change.

But the time will come and then it might be already too late. Most people on this planet are pretty much unaware about what is happening all over the world. And I can only repeat myself the root of all our problems lies in corruption. If we can't defeat corruption we are unable to change.

sorry unable or whatever, i got that wrong but still people have pretty much trouble to change that is what I meant. People very much are bound to repeat the same mistakes over and over again.

that was what I meant by it ...

Because many people do not believe in socialistic redistribution of earned wealth.

I don't think that any of them are for a direct increase in taxes, although Ron Paul would be most in favor of tax reform to close loopholes that benefit the rich. With the exception of Gary Johnson, he is also the only candidate in either major party who is ardently against government bailouts for banks and corporations. He is perhaps the #1 opponent in politics today of the "Welfare for Wall Street" that you despise so much.

That's the only one you're asking? You sure about that? Since, you know, I answered the other one you asked.

First he replied with on page 461

Why would they?

I don't think he avoids the question by replaying with a question, but I think he wants to know why it is for you important to know why they should talk about it? I think you missed the answer or at least his point of view in a whole right about here :D first post on page 462 .... you might want to consider not to repeat the question a dozen times mate ;-)

Because many people do not believe in socialistic redistribution of earned wealth.

Hi all

In reply to KBourne:

I am asking the Question because it needs asking.

In reply to GRS on his question:

Why would they?

If they care about the opinion of the majority of people in the US in particular the middle class tax payer who are paying for Welfare for Wealthy and Tax benefits for the 1% then they will be talking about tax increases on the rich.

As Warren Buffet thinks it is worth talking about what are the GOP afraid of?

So despite it obvouously being a frightening question for some. Which republican candidate is talking about tax increases on the rich?

Kind Regards walker

Walker is trolling you all, and you all don't even know it.
I'd put him on ignore, but some of his posts are rather amusing.

Why not just cut expenses instead? Raising taxes will only work until the interest accumulated on our debt gets larger (as it's bound to do) and we have a deficit again. Then they'll need to be raised again. And again, and again, resulting in perpetual taxation and a complete destruction of the US economy.

Most conservatives believe in cutting espenses/spending. Not that all Republicans are conservative but the big question would be who is a real conservative out of the candidates.

What exactly does a conservative believe that makes them different from Republicans?

So it's done!!!! Bill S1867 has been passed yesterday by Congress. This is the biggest defeat for the American people in the US history. I am really badly concerned for all Americans The USA has turned to Fascism over the last decade IMHO. The US leaders have no concern whatsoever for the American people nor for the whole world. I'm more scared of the USA, in this very moment, rather than any other country. Every interference from any country in US interests, will be crushed with all means available. Last resort the US Military . . . it is really sad. :(

Just because someone is a Republican doesnt make them a conservative. Not all share the same views.

For example Mitt Romney and his "Romney Care"..... "Government health care" which is not conservative.
