you can move them whereever you want, as long as you update the paths in these two places in the registry:

<table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Codemasters\Flashpoint Resistance

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint

You touch your registry, you live with the consequences, etc.

start -> run -> type "regedit" and your in smile_o.gif

then goto "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE" -> software -> then "Codemasters" and there you'll see both OFP and OFP:R, just change the directory where you have installed ofp smile_o.gif

smile_o.gif so that will copy all the ofp files to the new hard driver

I really suggest you just reinstall ofp on your new hard-drive and copy your user setting and addons later on. smile_o.gif

I`m afraid this comes a little late.

However, there is a save and simple way.

Install CWC and Res, copy and paste the Files of your old Flashpoint Installation (REALY ALL FILES, the HIDDEN ones too) into your new Flashpoint Folder and overwrite all Files. If done this Way, the Root of the new Installation must be the same as the old Root.

Means D:\Program Files\Codemasters\Operation Flashpoint, for example, would be the old and the new Installation Root.

This worked for me several Times, and saved a lot of Time. smile_o.gif

You don't have to reinstall. Just copy them to the new drive and start ofp from there. It would be better to change the path in the registry, but afaik it is not even necessary. The only important thing is that your player key is still in the registry.
