j w 0 Posted September 1, 2006 Memory-eating? When you can use that USB function to ADD additional RAM to your machine? Heck, the number of 2GB USBs and USB ports I have theoretically means I can have 10GB of RAM on my machine. Ehrm. IIRC there are motherboards supporting upto 32GB of ram, so why have USB ram? OFP speeds up and slows down with dual core (in my experience), so I have to set affinity to 1 cpu instead of utilizing both of them.
