Operation Farmland Mod

Recommended Posts

What i find really quite annoying is the fact that zombies only attack you and your squad, mainly you! It needs to be updated so that the zombies attack you, your squad AND anything that's not on their 'team' (They attack resistance, western and civilians). They shouldn't single the player out as the thing they should target. They should attack the nearest thing that's hostile.

You could just set them up using a trigger, it'd be pretty hard to make zombies attack all west/east/civil or west/res/civil with a gamelogic

god, how hard is it to make a trigger:

repeatedly, west, glballtargets = thislist

Once you made it you save it and ctrl+c/v it to every mission you want confused_o.gif

Ok i got it. Its a little video of 13mb.

Commando84 you were asking about zombie attacking in a (2-3) stories house. Its possible. smile_o.gif

ClickMe

Very cool video. Now that looks like fun! A little Night of the Living Dead flashback. If we could only get a bigger mall than the one on Farmland Island, we'd have ourselves Dawn of the Dead '78!

It ressurrects the dead fml_civilians. There is a mission template inside the civilian pack

Actually repeatedly, west, glballtargets = thislist does not work

I have a town full of civilians and made a trigger which is activated repeatedly, by anyone (also tried west/civilian) and in the on activation field put glballtargets = thislist and tried glballtargets = [thislist]

They still don't attack the civilians

last night I edit the demo mission some more and tried to add names to the list, but then the zombie groups just stood there.

I would also love to know a good way, or a good script to get them to attack anything other than their side. It's probably in there or in this thread but I haven't noticed.

make sure the trigger is over the units you want in the thislist list, so just make it 50000×50000 so it covers everything

If you want the zombies to attack civilians it shuold be activated by civilian.

Tried it, but just doesn't work. The trigger is at its max, activated repeatetly by civilians. And the zombies just stare at them.

Back to the drawing board. (i could name all the civilians and out them one my one in the gblalltargets = [c1, c2, etc]

I now put in the gamelogic which says attack player+group. And i made a trigger with GblAllTargets = thislist

Now it works. But if i remove the gamelogic which came woth HPIII which says attack player + group then they suddenly dont attack anymore.

Well at least it works noiw... Nobody is save anymore

You probably shouldn't do that. Not sure if it works properly. Place a logic "Zombie Mod - medium game" without typing anything on it, and then do the thislist trigger, without any attacking player logics. wink_o.gif

EDIT: Everon Curse campaign is nearly done! Few more days... wow_o.gif

Yes. I'm going to update the scripts to include the "smells" idea, as soon as I get time, which will be pretty soon I reckon. Just relax...

the smell script would that make zombies less cpu intensive? then when they always knew your position and everybody ran straight at you or their targets biggrin_o.gif

That works too. I now hasve the medium game difficulty game logic and made a trigger which was activated by civilians. In on activation i put gblalltargets = thislist

This way the zombies attack the civilians but not me as i was an west soldier. I called myself S1 and used

gblalltargets = thislist + [s1]

Now they attacked me and the civilians. Although this is no problem as usually i play as a civilian too smile_o.gif

When i had the trigger activated by "anyone" the zombies killed themselves rofl smile_o.gif

Man this mod is great. I love zombies.
