Waterman 0 Posted August 5, 2004 Hello all. Those of you that have seen Skye before probably thought I had stoped working on it... you were wrong. I had done alot of work on it but then I got a nasty virus and windows wouldn't boot up properly... anyway the hard disk had to be formatted and I lost it. Since then I learned to use WRPtool as it takes 500times less time placing vegetation with it than WRPedit. Now the island is looking considerably less bare and will be continuing to try and finish it off soon. Anyway here's a few pics of what I've been working on... New town, or rather completly redone. Has a bridge over to the castle on the west coast. Picture from Skye bridge looking over to Delovince. I finally managed to get my own intro working. The huge mountain that was beside Domensk (largest town), was removed and replaced with a river and more realistic terrain. More coming soon... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Waterman 0 Posted August 5, 2004 Not much larger, but I might in later versions... I'll probably release this version within a week then you guys can check it out for yourselves. Hopefully it will be more attractive for mission editing as it doesn't have any addons other than official ones. I am also working on a MFCTI 1.16 modifaction for Skye which will hopefully prove popular. You might have noticed I've converted all the roads to resistance versions aswell but kept the CWC vegetation as its better for game play (camping in bushes etc). More soon. The_Oakster 0 Posted August 6, 2004 Are the buildings that are slightly placed wrong being corrected? The 'town hall' building in the centre of that last pic is set too high so when you enter it you go through it. The same with the courtyard type area next to that (the building in an L shape with the columns, if you know where I mean? ) I think there are a couple of others too but I cant remember...
