Indy 0 Posted July 19, 2004 Hi, I've noticed that on original soldier models, when you select part of the character using selections (ie: lholen,pstehno...) some points of the selection are blue or purle instead of red. Why those points have different colours? http://ofp.gamezone.cz/_hosted/ophusky/images/blue_v.jpg
Crowley 0 Posted July 19, 2004 I noticed this recently making a new model. I'd name a selection, "windshield" for example, redefine the selection with the modelled windshield selected, and then later when I'd select "windshield" another seemingly random part of the truck would also be selected, but the vertices of that other part would be blue. Hadn't gotten around to asking.
Indy 0 Posted July 19, 2004 i think that they are connected to weight, if i change the weight of a component (right click on the selection name) the colour of the points in the selecion is changed.
DanAK47 1 Posted July 19, 2004 They are vertexes that are "less selected". In other words ones that have less weight in a selection. Click on one, then right click on the selections window and click weights. You'll see that there are different percentages. These alter how much they are animated. Their shade of blue will also change depending on how much weight they have in the selection.
