if you are willing to gather up up to six or seven or even more people from Forum or any place for some CTF game with my team m8s and me on this weekend ?

...we are team of OpF maniacs but not to serious as a squad, hungry for online 7 vs. 7 or more games so ....it would be nice, cool and fun game 

...give me reply as soon as posible so i could make some arrangement for the game

As a proposal for variety: how about we arange a date with the Zeus guys and play a night there using WGL and play that 'bastogne island' mission (if it's fixed and working) all together? That mission seems perfect for good dedicated coop players with a bit of discipline.

Oh yeah, those gangster missions were big fun (and we did very well in them, too). Some of the most fun FDF missions I played in a long time!

We don´t really have one. But it shouldn´t lag us down totally. I´m on ISDN and my ping is about 100. I guess up to 200 should be ok. Just try it and we´ll see :-)

I heard around that u cant play Multiplayer game on Broadband by satelite. (I dont know the techno mumbo-jumbo name) Is that true

I´m not technical expert in this but I guess the problem is that sat connections only downstream from satellite and upstream via regular telephone cable. That could be the reason why those connections are pinging slow and are therefore not suitable for online gaming...except you want to play chess online. That could work

That´s really a bit too much. Mine does also rocket when downloading maps but levels on 80 - 150 while gaming.

Everything with 300ms or less should be fine for playing coop games. After that the delay becomes to big and it get's unplayable - mostly for yourself, although it might affect other players insofar as that they might get run over or shot by you because you were lagged out. For competitive DM/CTF the ping should be significantly lower (<100ms).

It's a campaign with three episodes called Korttelijengi.. It's for only 3 players so that might be the reason why you haven't played it.

Bastige Island sounds awesome and I have great ping to the Zeus server... Forced me to install WGL 4.12 so I can try it out.

Wonder if there are any specific days/times the Zeus guys plays it?
