ok because i have different topic related questions

i put it here cuz i´m making an addon so let´s discuss it

as the title says i´m making an Starfury from babylon 5

1st ques is oxy related:

can i mirror objets in oxygen? so i don´t have to model each wing seperate?

(cuz i want to save time, so u can play with it asap)

2nd is scripting related:

can i change the direction of a plane smoothly (like in babylon 5)using setvelocity or set dir?

3rd SCRIPTER WANTED!!!:

u guess it, i need a scripter so if i make it a plane so it can turn around its own axis on 180°

or fly sidewards

(otherwise i make it a chopper-like)

Hello! I'm a (former) B5 fan myself and I'm 100% sure you couldn't get a starfury moving in ofp like it should. Ofp only does planes and choppers, it would be impossible to do fancy starfury sideslips and reversed flying because you can't change the orientation angle of an object in ofp.

answers:

1. yes.

when you mirror something make sure you flip the faces afterwards by selecting it and pressing W.

2. Yes, but you wouldn't be able to control it using controls like a joystick or a mouse.

3. I'd say forget about the flying sideways as ofp is quite limited when it comes to stuff like that. I would just config it like a plane and have it fly like the thunderbolt starfury.

i thin i make it chopper like

but faster and more moveable

then i´do some scripts lik boh did

for side slide 180° flip etc

this should work on a chopper

i need some help onthe textures btw..

can anyone one make me some translucent one?
