Zir_additional_wgl_config 1.0 release

Recommended Posts

This config actually uses the units you mentioned as WGL men.

Adds loads of units to the editor, exactly the same as WGL units, just with different unit models, two of which are BAS Delta's and Marine Assault Pack.

Do I need to add something to the INIT.SQS to allow me to be able to have the ZIRO_DELTA guy setup a mortar?

No, i havent tested it but you should be able to set up the mortars just like you do in WGL normal, just add ZIR XXXX Mortar Gunner, Assitant Gunner and Ammo bearer's - Assemble the mortar and off you go like in WGL.

I don't see any problems with this because i inherited from the Default WGL Men.

Also: Don't try using a ZIR XXXX Mortar if there is one, it probably wont work (i cant rememebr if i configed one, i got bored and just redid a whole clump and didnt really check what i was adding)

Note: I have found a small bug in the pack that affects Multiplayer, i'll post later on today about and updated .rar, so if your interested in this thing just keep ur eyes out.

I managed to reconfig a default unit. crazy_o.gif + i just relised i havent used half the updated configs, just mine are the latest configs > gah!

Sorry for mess up, will be fixed tonight.

Ziro - at least for me it doesn't work.....

I have tried with your mortar guys and regular guys - only ones it works with are the WGL men - and it works with any of them.

Must be something they have in the config.

From Angus -

Ziro.... getting other units to work with mortars is a function of adding the Eventhandlers for our soldiers, and the User Actions. We define our user actions in the main wgl_men_config config.cpp file and it can be referenced fairly easily. You can do the same with armor values. We setup 3 tiers of armor (or was it 4?) for soldiers and again, it's simple to add. The only trick might be getting the user actions to lower goggles to work after converting to WG. May want to just copy and paste the user actions at that point or make your own defines.

Thanks for the report, i'll look into it while im fixing my classes.

I don't see why, i just copied and pasted, the event handlers should have followed.
