I been reading alot about these things, It got me interested in seeing if these things actually DO work by themselves, and move. Has anybody ever used a Ouija board?

For those who are curious it looks something like this:

It is said you can communicate with spirits. I was interested if anybody had any expierence with one of these, or any paranormal expierences outside of Ouija boards.

Long time ago, around 1995, a few of my friends got around one at a party. Being of relatively sound mind (not a complete idiot), I decided not to partake. I told them to ask whoever the hell they were taking to when I would die. The board dialed up 1998.

The point? My belief that Ouija board's are for dumbshits was strengthened.

Never used it, never will, for two reasons.

1. If its fake, its a waste of time.

2. If its not, its treading on way dangerous grounds. And last time I checked my city didnt have a local branch of Ghostbusters...

Lol. Last year on our Senior Retreat for school, one of my mates and I set one of these up (edit: or was it a weigi board..... Who cares, same B/S). Taking advantage of the gullible and easily manipulated, and the fact our place of accommodation was an ex-hospice.

Scared the s**t out of at least three of my friends. One was so freaked out he felt the need to leave the room, until one of us told him it was a prank.

It's all horse s**t. There's always at least one person probing as to how deep he or she can mess with other, often weaker minds.

lol. Thanks for reminding me of how much of a good time I had! And all of the other tomfoolery that went on. Childish (and dangerous) in hindsight, but hilarious at the time.

Yep never used it but its like a modem which dials to the spirits usually really bad ones.

I think one or more people subconsciously push the little thingy around the board without realizing it. The more stupid/gullible the people around the board are, the more interesting the results will be.

So in short, only stupid people can contact the dead.

People do notice. A typical session will allways consist on multiple people accusing others of moving the board, and everyone denying that it's them that's doing it.
